Greetings and welcome to the official website of the Sophisticated Southeastern Region of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated.


In the Southeastern Region, we are steadfast, formidable, and “Fueled by Passion” in this remarkable time of transformation and change. We are home to over 150 graduate and undergraduate chapters in Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, the U.S. Virgin Island, and the Bahamas.

 
It’s celebration time for Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated. We are embarking on 100 years of “Greater Service, Greater Progress.” The following year will be a celebration of a century of excellence in sisterhood, scholarship, and service. We are celebrating a 100-year commitment to bettering

our society and a promise of what is yet to come for our great sorority.

 
We are currently working on updating our website with the information you need as we work together to take our region to new greater heights. We hope you like the changes and upgrades!

It is the mission of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. to enhance the quality of life for women and their families in the U.S. and globally through community service, civil, and social action. Our goal is to achieve greater progress in the areas of education, health awareness, and leadership development. Our members, affiliates, staff, and community partners work to create and support initiatives that align with our vision.

Donation

Donate to the new Soror Sharrieffa Barksdale Track in Harriman, TN. Soror Barksdale's goal is to rebuild the track for so many disadvantaged children in her hometown as Soror Barksdale always says, "It's not about me, it's about a place for children to display their talent, and get scholarships so they can have an opportunity to be the best they can be in life."
